I’m Sama E Shan — a multidisciplinary engineer blending mechanical design, computer science, and robotics to build intelligent, human-centered systems. With a foundation in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from Kyung Hee University, my work spans robotics, IoT, embedded systems, and haptic simulation. I’ve contributed to projects ranging from autonomous robots and digital twins to virtual reality safety simulations and AI-driven sensing systems. Currently, I’m focused on developing industrial-grade robotic systems using ROS, integrating machine learning and simulation to bridge the gap between the physical and virtual worlds. Beyond engineering, I experiment with art, interactive media, and generative design, exploring how creativity and technology can evolve together.

  • SafetyProject: Project goal is to incorporate multimodes of haptic feedback by different wearable devices to be used in safety training simulation scenarios. My primary responsibility was to design 3d printed devices, design pcb as well as create virtual reality-based scenarios.
  • Project goal is to replicate the different haptic feedback in virtual scene for a Power plant. My responsibility was to replicate the virtual scenario from point cloud camera data. Cleaning and optimizing for VR (Unity). Later on create a data acquisition system to collect Force, acceleration and position data using a UR3 robot.
